Enlist Persistence To Reign!
"When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place that the tide will turn." Harriet Beecher Stowe
Principle #7: Be persistent
Perseverance, according to the American Heritage Dictionary is defined as holding to a course of action, belief, or purpose, without giving way; steadfastness. Perseverance is a synonym for persistence. To persist means to be obstinately repetitious, insistent or tenacious in some activity; to hold firmly and steadfastly to some purpose, state, or undertaking, despite obstacles, warnings, or set backs; to continue in existence; to Last.
Are you going to outlast the storm or are you going to let your storm defeat you? Of course, you're going to outlast your storm. That's why you're reading this book so that you can apply these principles to your life and take your dominion back. As you begin to apply these principles you have to remember, just like your determination will be tested, so will your ability to remain persistent. The difference between the two is that determination is a mind set, the way you think; persistence is the physical action, what you do. Persistence is the demonstration of determination.
