The Reign in Life Radio Show on 3/18/11 was dynamic! From Homeless to Mogul, Mo Stegall gave some stellar advice on how to Reign in Life Against All Odds!
1. There is no plan B! Jer. 29:11 Plan A is what God called you to do and to be. It’s the perfect Will of God for your life! When you trust God no matter what it looks like right now you know that eventually plan A will be manifested! He talked about how he was homeless, how he had to deal with losing his mom to AIDS and so many more obstacles that he faced. After all of that he still championed his journey and has dedicated his life to serving others. Become the champion of your own dream! There is no need for plan B!
2. Become like a horse! Horses are so focused on the finish line that they have no time to look back at their starting point! Stop looking back at all the mistakes you’ve made, the people who hurt you or the time and money you’ve wasted. It will only slow you down! You have a race to run, a course to finish and a prize to win. Keep moving forward if you fall get back up and go! 1 Cor. 9:24
3. Refocus: Continually monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed. Don’t throw in the towel if the first way you tried it didn’t work. Repair your broken principles and move on! It took Thomas Edison 10,000 attempts before he had a successful patent on a longer lasting light bulb. We want to give up if it didn’t work after 1 attempt. Some of us never even get started because we’ve failed in our minds before we ever began.
4. Reposition: Don’t be afraid of where God takes you as you become pliable and flexible to His Will for your life! You may have to be repositioned to Reign! I hear a sermon coming on. Lol Ps. 37:4 AMP Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. The word delight means to become pliable, flexible, moldable like clay! Allow God to reposition you even though you don’t understand.
6. Resurrect the Dream! Some of us have let the dream that God put in our heart die. It didn’t work out the way we thought it would so we say “maybe God didn’t put this in my heart.” If after all this time you still have a burning desire to do, be, or have that thing. It may be time to Resurrect the Dream!
