A Tribute to Women

Where would mankind be without women?

We hall all come from women.

From Mother Earth and the mothers of civilization and for those of you who are not mothers you are all daughters.

Grandmothers, aunts, cousins, nieces, sisters.

A strong woman  exudes strength without overexerting it.

She endures and aspires, helps and hopes.

A Strong woman is sensitive without being vulnerable,

Intuitive without being intrusive.

A smart woman has passion and compassion and can balance both.

She knows her place is everywhere she wants to be,

And her job is everything she wants to do.

She has the words to soothe or inspire,

The heart to hear and share,

The hands to hold and handle.

The essence of woman is all around us:

The stars shine in her eyes,

Her smile is our sunshine,

Her tears are our rain.

We would be nowhere without her

And want to be everywhere with her.

She should never need to know where she stands.

She should never be without the gift of gratitude.

She is deserving of recognition every day.

Women of the world, we thank you.
