James 1:21-22 you need be a doer of the Word, a doer of the Word does the Word for a living
Doer means performer...
We've been given a script (bible) and we are expected to perform it in our lives

Deceiving your own selves delude..... because your expecting to receive the blessings of the word when your only a hearer and not doing it


In the movie limitless he took a pill and it allowed him to maximize his unused  potential...well we have a pill a gospill and when we get into it and actually do it we reach our full potential!

There all some knock off Christians people who confess Christianity but have the habits of an atheist.

Just imagine you had a diary and you kept it for a week would you be able to look back and see the habits of a true Christian?

1 Tim 4:7 amp and msg talking about spiritual exercise.
exercise means to practice or to train which requires discipline

Our goal or target weight is godliness

3 john 1:2, 4 soul here is not referring to mind will and emotions its talking about your spirit

True prosperity begins in your heart/spirit

PR 27:17 referred to

There are some spiritual exercises we must do every day

Just like physical exercise we have to discipline ourselves to do what's necessary

A disciple of Christ is a disciplined one

Acts 2:41-42 these brand new believers was consistently in the Word and connected with the believers and in prayer

V 46- they did this daily

Jesus is the source of true joy the closer you get to Him the happier you will be!

Jesus said you shall know them by their fruit

Four spiritual habits you need to do everyday!

1.Real Christians read the bible everyday Acts 17:11 1 Tim 4 give attendance to reading
Prov 8:17 early...means earnestly v 34

Studies reveal 80% of Christians do not read their bible more than 15 hours a week

Ps 119:97 mediation on the word josh 1:8

Everyday you ought to have a Word from the Lord..via your personal study meditation time.....that's what real Christians do when asked the Word that God has given you should be able to spew it out without having to run to your bible it should be shut up in your bones, you should be able to preach a 5 minute sermon if I called you up here just on the Word God gave you in your personal meditation time today!

2. Real Christians spend time in prayer everyday Is 58:2
Ps 145:2 bless and thank God everyday then pray in the natural, then pray in the Spirit

You ought to seek the face of God before you see the face of man!

You can't fall if your already on your knees

Mark 1 Matt 14 Jesus prayed consistently
Give God at least an hour I'd prayer..
Give God dedicated time that's where the power is

3.  Real Christians participate in Church service every week Heb10:25 its should not be a habit to miss church
Ch.13:7; 17 clearly somebody should have the rule over you

Go from being a spectator to being a contributor

4. Real Christians participate in group life (church activities Heb 3:15)

Is this the lifestyle of a real Christan?
