You Can Have It All!

I interviewed Pastor Karla Walker on our February 24th episode of Reign in Life Radio! The show was awesome! “You Can Have It All!” was the title of the show! Pastor Karla was an excellent guest for the show. She’s Reigning in Life as an anointed woman of God, married to an anointed man of God and has 4 beautiful anointed children. We talked about her success in all three arenas spending the most time talking about the arena of having a successful marriage! Which is dear to my heart because I truly believe that if a women is Reigning in her marriage and her relationship with God she will inevitably Reign in all areas of her life! So here are some of the tips I came away with as to how we can have it all!

First you must know that God has called you to Have It All! To Reign in Every area of your life!

Genesis 1:26-28 (King James Version)

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.


Reigning as a wife and in marriage!
The number one key to reigning in marriage is to choose the right life partner! When dating, Pastor Karla said she could remember one of the first questions that she asked Pastor Rich was “what is your vision?” It is vision that should bring the two of you together. It is imperative before you start dating to know what your vision is and RUN if you date someone who doesn’t know theirs. Amos 3:3 NLT says Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction? Pastor Karla also said “opposites attract but people of the same cloth stay together!” You should date someone who is a clone of you. What does that actually mean? Well, you should share the same vision, values, beliefs, and perceptions on life! Of course you will have different gifts that should compliment each other. While discussing vision Pastor Karla mentioned that there are a lot of successful single women who desire to be married but feel like they will have to change or put their vision on hold to submit to the vision of the man they wish to marry. So to the successful single woman who’s operating in her vision, the man that God has for you will share the same vision and your vision your business/career will excel because of him not decline. Your visions will link up together. You don’t all of a sudden have to change your vision or shift your vision to link up with him. If that’s the case he is not the one. Run honey run! God gave you a vision just like he gave him one. Communication is key to reigning in any arena of life especially marriage. Make sure that you marry someone you can talk with about anything. You shouldn’t be looking to marry the perfect person as you are not perfect. Every one of us has issues. You should be looking to marry God’s perfect choice for you! Keeping your heart open to God, listening for His direction and not being in a rush will keep you on the right path to finding the perfect life partner! I told you we spent the most time in this arena! I was glad we did! As a single successful woman, when she spoke on that issue I was truly blessed and gained new insight!

Reigning as an anointed Mom and having anointed children!
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. Ps 127:3 NLT. Having unity and sharing the same vision for raising their children is key! Pastor Karla and Pastor Rich both home school their children and seek God on how to minister to them as individuals. It is extremely important when you have more than one child that you do not treat them all the same. Each child has a unique and special purpose from God and as soon as they come out of the womb as parents we need to train them up in that purpose. Pastor Karla shared the names of her beautiful children and what each of their names meant. Their names speak to the themes of their lives and they teach them accordingly. That’s just awesome! I believe one of the main reasons why so many of our children our lost is because they don’t know who they are. Pray and ask God about your children’s purpose and then begin to develop them in that area that will be unique to their purpose. We as parents have the responsibility to raise our children up in purpose and the fear and admonition of the Lord! See eph. 6:4

Reigning as an anointed business woman!
We were just about out of time when it came down to this question. She’s not off doing one thing and he another! They live their lives as one unit they are inseparable not because they have to be but because they want to be. So that just proves my theory that You Can Have It All when you are Reigning in your relationship with God and your spouse! God Bless!
